When I first heard of it, I didn’t think it was important because I was still wrestling with blogs and blogging. I realize, I am quite behind regarding the internet. I got sick of doing the same things, namely, writing, or more importantly, I ran out of my favorite ideas or topics to blog about. I required a change to keep from going bonkers and I turned my focus on other stuff like getting visitors. So I turned my attention to social bookmarking. Nothing in depth, just superficial stuff like, how does it work and plain and simple things like that. The wonderful thing with social bookmarking sites is that it requires very little intelligence. You sign up and submit your sites and they accept it. Then the magic begins. Spiders find your sites and index them. cool! I have had a site rank in number one on Google’s search pages after I submitted it to a few social bookmarking sites.
